PPT services and activities include, but are not limited to:

• facilitation of transfer of new and emerging technology
• promotion of proper utilisation of existing local technology
• encouragement and support of local inventors and investors
• identification, documentation and popularisation of imported and Indigenous Technical Knowledge (ITK)
• keeping abreast of new and emerging technologies, facilitating their dissemination and creating links to innovative technologies and expertise
• research partnership with like-minded organisations
• information support service to industry  and institutions
• develop a data bank of emerging technologies, with special emphasis on technologies that may be useful for short-and long-term needs of Africa
• providing heavy machinery, farmers trucks, tractors and tools for agriculture
• environmental protection and management
